Grand Floridian

On a simi-recent trip to Florida I couldn't help myself from drawing the average American. who can blame me?

Expiditions

Eat your heart out National Geographic!

I am not the greatest of photographers.... and I have a sneaking suspicion that my camera has a setting where there isn't as much grain... but alas I can't figure my little canon out. I really wish I would have been paying attention in my photography class... something about an f-stop. Hiss....

I like to live in America!

Soooo... I will post some drawings from my sketchbook when I get them all scanned and fancied up. As a grand total of maybe 3 people actually look at my blog I can probably take my time and no one will notice. In the meantime enjoy some odd photos of my Trip to the Yucatan.

Owed to a mother

A personal doodle. Only I get to know what it means... I wonder if anyone will recognize her. I just like it.

Stop bugging me!

This is a funny sketch I did of my office mate Nick Comorre. It's spot on. He always says "no" or, "I don't care". It's his way.

Greed.

So I ordered this calligraphy pen by accident. As it turns out its great for shape sketches. I really had a lot of fun sketching these little dragons. They are my own interpretation of greed... in shape form. My idea of greed is usually someone who is skinny miserly and vulture-like, their magpie like tendencies and a frail weasely frame with a disproportionate belly are all specific to what I think of as greedy. A particular neck shape manifested itself in my designs over and over again.

Enjoy!

Pen Sketches

Here are some pen sketches from my trip to Florida. It was fun. A lot of great stuff to draw at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Can one call it a zoo? Also some sketches from Bali and Singapore. Enjoy!!

Piratey

I have been working at Imagineering for a year and 10 months. Oh wow. Freaky. I was sitting here thinking about what to post... but we all know that you sign your life away when you work for the mouse... hence I can't actually show anyone what I have done here at work as it is a no no. So, I did this in school a while back. Enjoy. Acrylic on illustration board.
